A humanoid robot has been seen attending to customers in a bank in Victoria Island, Lagos state, Nigeria.
A video making the rounds online showed the customer care representative robot with a small TV-like screen placed in front of him as it shows people’s request on it.
Humanoid robot is a robot resembling the human body in shape with a torso, a head, two arms, and two legs. The design may be for functional purposes, such as interacting with human tools and environments, for experimental purposes, such as the study of bipedal locomotion, or for other purposes.
With its degree of freedom and wide task availability, robots can be used in different sectors, health, biotechnology including banking.
In a recent time when going to the bank for anything meant spending a minimum of half your day. From standing in one queue to another to getting tangled in complicated legacy system, the robot is employed to make work faster. Watch the video below:
